Sage Evaluates 11 GICS Sectors for Sustainability Risks and Opportunities

July 18, 2024 — We assess 1,500 corporate issuers quarterly using our Sage ESG Leaf Score® Methodology. This custom framework includes quantitative and qualitative analysis of industry-specific ESG risks, third-party data, and a company’s individual sustainability practices. During the most recent update, 81 issuers were upgraded and 20 were downgraded. Sectors where companies received the most upgrades were Financials, Consumer Discretionary, Industrials, Materials, and Consumer Staples.
